Marvelous Montana

My first look at Montana was pretty spectacular.  The mountains are dramatic, scenic rivers flow through valleys practically devoid of human inhabitants.

This is the bounty that my friend Emily shared with me.

Bear print!

Lone Peak mountain looks beautiful every day.

Hike to Beehive basin with the family and dogs.

Toys

These are the toys that sit on my bedside stand.  Is it weird that I just realized the morbidity of this collection?

May morning

Yes I'm skipping ahead about half a year.  That might have to be how this works.  But today I was inspired so here are some photos from my May morning walk.
This guy again, scroll to the bottom of this post to see how he visited earlier in the week.

Somebody has this sweet tent in their back yard.  They'd better be careful before some ski bum moves in.

These trees are AWESOME!

Oli kept me company, I swear he knows to pose for cameras.

I may have been a little obsessed with what the trees looked like this morning.

A few days ago I had to text a co-worker saying I'd be a little late coming in to work because of the moose by my car, and by the way, any suggestions to motivate it to move along?  With moose, it's hard to say, they could be scared (more likely annoyed) by sounds, but they could also be curious.  So I had to wait him out.  Luckily he moved after about 5 minutes.
